ABC Extreme Makeover: Home Edition Project
Wraps in Middleburg on Feb. 2, 2011

Work began on Jan. 27, 2011 in Middleburg, Florida, located in the northeastern part of the state just south of Jacksonville, to build a new home for Carrie Prewitt and her family.

Prewitt, a high school volleyball coach, became the guardian for three children she took into her home 2009 after the passing of the children's parents. Within a week, J.A. Long and co-builder ARK Remodeling and construction had erected a brand new home for the family.

The builders thank all the volunteers, contractors, vendors and manufacturers who donated their time and materials to make the project a success for this deserving family!
